Brisbane golf is "second banana" in comparison with the Gold & Sunshine Coasts where an abundance of fist class, world rated resort and championship courses.

If you are visiting Brisbane on business or for some other purpose, then I would play the 2 courses I have suggested, playing the North Lakes Resort Golf Club on the way to the Sunshine Coast as it is closer to Caloundra than it is to Brisbane. I would stay & play at the Kooralbyn Resort on my way to the Gold Coast from Brisbane. Kooralbyn is a few miles inland from the coast.

The Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast are about 1 hour from Brisbane by road.

In my mind, the Gold Coast has a little "too much" of everything. It is one of the world's most popular holiday playgrounds and there seems to be golf courses everywhere.

Day 1

  • Arrive Brisbane Airport. Met by Coolabar Rep
  • Relax and acclimatize
  • Shop the Queen Street Mall and break the bank at Conrad's Treasury Casino
  • Overnight: Brisbane 5* hotel

Day 2

  • In the morning, play Royal Queensland
    After golf, tour the South Bank Parklands.
  • Overnight: Brisbane 5* hotel

Day 3

Day 4

  • In the morning, play Indooroopilly
  • In the afternoon, transfer to the Gold or Sunshine Coast
  • Overnight: 5* hotel or golf resort
